Kano is the capital city of Kano State, the second most populous city in Nigeria. Created in 1967 from the former Northern Region, Kano State borders Katsina, Jigawa, Bauchi, and Kaduna states. Since independence, Kano has developed a diverse economy centred on industry, agriculture, and Islamic banking.
The Kano chapter of NCS is at the forefront of driving digital transformation in the region, connecting technology professionals and fostering innovation that serves both local and national interests.
